Michele Bachmann Says The Party Will Unite To Beat President Obama

Michele Bachmann was on ABC’s “This Week” today to discuss the republican delegate race. She says the party will eventually unify behind one candidate to beat President Obama. “I think the quicker that the Republicans can unify behind our candidate and make Barack Obama and his failed policies the focus of this election, the better off we all will be, but the people need to decide,” Bachmann said. “Whoever the people choose, I will back that candidate, because I want mine not to be a divisive voice,” Bachmann said. “I want to help unify the party and bring together the Tea Party element, the evangelical, and the establishment, and then reach out to independents and disaffected Democrats.”

Misogynistic, racist, and homophobic – the perfect trifecta. What more can you ask for in a Republican candidate? Most likely there are Republicans that are not like this, but unfortunately they are not being heard. I am at a loss as to how people can be so full of hate, especially when they call themselves, “Christians.” Jesus was about tolerance, something of which the vocal base of the Republican party sadly know nothing about.
