Ron Paul Wins Presidential Idol While Duncan Hunter Gets Voted Off

Another month is gone, and another candidate has been voted off of Presidential Idol. Ron Paul received the most votes for the month of September and came in first with 46%. This is the sixth straight month that Ron Paul has won in the vote count. Coming in second with 9.9% of the vote was Mike Huckabee. Hillary Clinton and Chuck Hagel tied for third with 9.6%. The candidate that gets voted off this month was Duncan Hunter with 1.2% of the vote. Hunter is a Republican member of the House representing the San Diego area. In 1994 he helped build a fence along the border with Mexico in his district which is the basis for his idea of a fence along the whole U.S. Mexican border. His fence idea wasn’t enough to impress the voters on Presidential Idol. All the candidates on Presidential Idol are starting from zero again, so we can vote another candidate off at the end of October. We are down to 14 candidates, and November 2008 we will pick from that group the first Presidential Idol. You can vote once a day for any candidate on the list. The one with the least votes on October 31 is voted off, and we start again with 13. So come by and vote for your favorite candidate at Presidential Idol. It’s free and it’s fun. Thanks.
