President Obama Is Being Attacked By Secretive Oil Billionaires

President Obama’s campaign team have released a new campaign ad that claims that secretive oil billionaires are attacking him. According to the campaign, “President Obama has taken steps to make us energy independent and create an economy that’s built to last. He’s been a strong supporter of domestic energy production, has made historic investments in clean energy technology, and has nearly doubled fuel-efficiency standards for cars and trucks. Because of the progress we’ve made, our dependence on foreign oil is the lowest it’s been in 16 years. Yet, conservative groups funded by big oil are spending millions trying to distort the President’s record.”

President Obama Will Go Negative According To RNC

The RNC have released a new campaign ad claiming President Obama will go negative for the 2012 campaign, and have launched a new web site, www.Ottack2012.com, which will counter all this negativity. In the ad they use Mark Halperin, saying that “Obama’s campaign and allies will run more negative ads against this Republican nominee in 2012 than have ever been run in the history of the world.” They also use video of candidate Obama saying, “If you can’t beat your opponent’s ideas, you distort those ideas and maybe make some up. If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run away from.” This one is a little out of context since he was commenting on attacks against himself during the 2008 campaign. Ironically it also sounds like his game plan from the last 3 years, so it works really good here.
