Al Gore Faces An Inconsistent Truth

Al Gore was recently seen on his Current TV cable channel saying “civilization is at risk if global warming is not a campaign issue,” and no one cared. Now later this month he faces the releases of a new movie, “An Inconsistent Truth,” which is opening up on January 27th at a theater near Nashville. According to the web site, “this movie is an entertaining, fact-filled odyssey that will have you thinking, cheering and laughing. Phil Valentine goes straight to the experts and so-called experts and demands to know the truth. Newt Gingrich Not Fond Of French Speaking Politicians From Massachusetts

Newt Gingrich’s latest campaign ad takes aim at front runner Mitt Romney. He has shied away from his anti-capitalist rant and is now down on French speaking politicians from Massachusetts. Gingrich ties Romney with previous Massachusetts presidential hopefuls Michael Dukakis and John Kerry, both of whom turned out to be losers. The ad concludes by saying, “A Massachusetts moderate cannot beat Barack Obama.”

Mitt Romney’s latest campaign ad takes aim at the GOP candidates attacking him for his work with Bain Capital. “We expected the Obama administration to put free markets on trial,” the ad says. “But as the Wall Street Journal said, Mr. Romney’s GOP opponents are embarrassing themselves by taking the Obama line.” According to the ad, “Mitt Romney is a conservative businessman who helped create and run a company that invested in struggling businesses, started new ones, and rebuilt old ones, creating thousands of jobs.”

The next time you are watching the debates and wondering, “why did they ask such a silly question,” George Stephanopoulos has the answer for you. They have bets trying to make the candidates say stupid stuff. At least that is what Stephanopoulos seems to be saying on “The Stephen Colbert Show.” Stephanopoulos told Colbert that he pushed on the contraception question so hard because, “Diane Sawyer bet me that I couldn’t get Mitt Romney to say “contraceptions are working just fine.””
