Thaddeus McCotter Is Out And Endorses Mitt Romney

Presidential candidate Thaddeus McCotter has announced in a letter to supporters that he will be dropping out of the Presidential race. “Today, effective immediately, I have withdrawn my candidacy to become the Republican Party’s nominee for the Office of President of the United States of America.” McCotter offers some solutions to help the Republican party win the next election. McCotter says, “We cannot unite America if we divide the movement of Principled Conservatism. The time has come for the Tea Party and the Republican Party to come together to serve and save this great nation. Thus, upon having withdrawn my candidacy, I have endorsed Governor Mitt Romney to become our Republican Party’s nominee. We must unite behind the candidate best capable of defeating Barack Obama on November 6, 2012—Mitt Romney is that candidate.” McCotter plans to stay on in his current position saying, “I have decided to seek re-election to continue to serve as your United States Representative for Michigan’s new 11th Congressional District; and, I am committed to promoting and implementing a platform of principled conservatism.”

Michele Bachmann Opposes Obamacare and Perrycare

Michele Bachmann has released a simple video to express her dislike of crony capitalism and the abuse of executive power. According to Bachmann, “Whether it’s Obamacare or Perrycare, I oppose anyone who mandates a family’s healthcare choices and violates the rights of parents, especially if the decision-making process occurs behind closed doors, bypassing legislative action, and favoring campaign contributors over the rights of families. In my opinion, that’s just not right. ”

Ford Takes Shot At Bailed Out Auto Companies

Here is a new ad from Ford Auto’s “Drive One” series which includes a shot at the other companies that took some of the bailout money. An actual Ford owner, “Chris”, was asked if buying American was important in his decision making. He responded, “I wasn’t going to buy another car that was bailed out by our government. I was going to buy from a manufacturer that’s standing on their own: win, lose, or draw. That’s what America is about is taking the chance to succeed and understanding when you fail that you gotta’ pick yourself up and go back to work. Ford is that company for me.”

Flashback: White House Touts Success of Solyndra

The official White House blog has a page promoting the success of Solyndra as “an innovative solar panel manufacturer that is building a new facility with funding made possible by the Recovery Act.” “The impact of Solyndra’s success is being felt throughout the chain of companies that supply Solyndra with goods and materials.” I wonder if these same companies are fighting to get paid from the now bankrupt Solyndra? They conclude by saying that, “companies like Solyndra and Recovery Act investments like this one are helping drive progress across the country.”
