Mitt Romney Gives President Obama A DDD Rating

Mitt Romney was on the campaign trial and gave President Obama a DDD rating (debt, downgrade, and delay) in response to the recent downgrade of the United States’ credit rating. “What I’ve seen and said from this president is not a AAA presidency but I’ll call it a DDD presidency. It’s been a presidency which has been associated with debt and with downgrade and with delay.” “You’ve got 25 million people out of work right now Mr. President, out of work or in part time jobs needing full time work or the stopped looking for work,” Romney said. “You shouldn’t be on the vineyard playing golf. You should be doing your job putting Americans back to work.” Romney went on to say that, “debt, downgrade, and delay hardly characterize the American spirit.”

Ron Paul Calls FEMA Useless

Ron Paul was on Fox News Sunday this morning and backed up his claim that we should get rid of FEMA. “It’s a system of bureaucratic central economic planning, which is a fallacy that is deeply flawed. FEMA has been around since 1978. It has one of the worst reputations for a bureaucracy ever,” Paul said. “I want to transition out of this dependency on the federal government.” Mike Wallace called Paul’s views “somewhat unconventional,” and Paul considered that strange. Paul said, “yes, people are waking up and they’re saying ‘Yeah, Ron Paul’s right. Why are we fighting all these undeclared wars? Why do we have a Federal Reserve that bails out the rich and dumps on the poor? And why is it that deficits don’t really matter and politicians just stand around and talk that they’re going to nibble away at a budget deficit that is 10 years out.’ So, no, this is a very popular philosophy.”

Governor Christie Worries About The Storm

Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey was on ‘Meet The Press’ this morning to discuss the hurricane. There’s rain, and wind, and floods, oh my. Big government feels it has to tell us to come in out of the rain. “I’ve got to imagine that the damage estimates are going to be in the billions of dollars, if not in the tens of billions of dollars,” Christie said in the interview.

President Obama Reports On Hurricane

President Obama worries us about one of the most over reported hurricane ever, hurricane Irene. Then he comforts us by letting us know the government is here to help. Don’t ever let a natural disaster go to waste, not even a barely category 1 hurricane. Obama advised Americans to visit the website www.ready.gov to get information if you are in the path of the storm.

“The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.'”
