Herman Cain announced yesterday in Atlanta that if he is elected as President we will be, “free at last.” “Look at the facts, don’t look at the rhetoric,” he said. “The stuff is not working, it’s not working.” “Is America ready for a real leader, not a reader?” Cain asked the crowd estimated to be about 15,000 strong. “We can take this entitlement society to an empowerment society,” Cain told his audience. “We can become an empowerment society with our new vision.” And on the Constitution Cain said, “We don’t need to rewrite, let’s reread.” Cain took a shot at President Obama’s recent deal with Brazil by stating, “We will be our own best customer.” And then he mentioned Obama’s dealing with Israel by saying, “I know you don’t throw your friends under the bus.”

Cain tells Neil Cavuto what the “Cain Doctrine” would be if he became the president of the United States. According to Cain, “You mess with Israel, you are messing with the United States of America. It’s that simple.” Cain went on to say, “It represents the arrogant disregard of this president for the opinion of the American people who like the great relationship with have with the people of Israel and the disregard for Israel having the right to make its own decision.”
