Now here is President Obama taking softball questions;

President Obama was asked today, “With over 1 out of 30 Americans controlled by the penal system, why not legalize, control, and tax marijuana to change the failed war on drugs into a money making, money saving boost to the economy? Do we really need that many victimless criminals?” Obama quickly answered, “There was one question that voted on that ranked fairly high and that was whether legalizing marijuana would improve the economy and job creation. And I don’t know what this says about the online audience, but … this was a popular question. We want to make sure it’s answered. The answer is no, I don’t think that’s a good strategy to grow our economy. So all right.”

This is from President Obama’s interview with “60 Minutes” Steve Kroft. Kroft commented about the current economic crises and Obama just laughs it off. “You’re sitting here. And you’re— you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, ‘I mean, he’s sitting there just making jokes about money—’ How do you deal with— I mean: explain. . .” Kroft asked. Then Kroft added alluding to the Kool-Aide Obama supporters drink, “Are you punch-drunk?” Obama answered, “No, no. There’s gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day.” It is good to know our President is in such good spirits, but I can’t imagine George Bush getting away with that type of behavior.
