According to the campaign, “President Obama is on a two-day, non-stop “America Forward!” tour with grassroots events in Iowa, Colorado and Nevada. On Thursday President Obama will continue the tour with grassroots events in Florida, Virginia and Ohio.” He kicked off the second day of his tour in Tampa, Florida and ended his Tampa trip by buying some fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts for firefighters.
Clint Eastwood is featured in the latest ad from the Super PAC American Crossroads. “In the last few years, America’s been knocked down,” Eastwood says in the ad. “23 million people can’t find full-time work. We borrow $4 billion every single day, much of it from China. When someone doesn’t get the job done, you got to hold them accountable. Obama’s second term would be a rerun of the first, and our country just couldn’t survive that. We need someone who can turn it around fast, and that man is Mitt Romney. There’s not much time left, and the future of our country is at stake.”
Paul Ryan delivered a speech on poverty at Cleveland State University yesterday. Ryan said that “today, 46 million people are living in poverty. That’s nearly one in six Americans – the highest poverty rate in a generation. During the last four years, the number of people living on food stamps has gone up by 15 million. Medicaid is reaching a breaking point. And one in four American students fails to attain a high-school diploma. In our major cities, half of our kids don’t graduate. Half.” He added that, “in this war on poverty, poverty is winning. We deserve better. We deserve a clear choice for a brighter future. So what is the alternative approach that Mitt Romney and I are offering?” He admits that many “think everybody should just fend for themselves. But that’s just a false argument – a straw man set up to avoid genuine debate.” “The truth is, Mitt and I believe in true compassion and upward mobility – and we are offering a vision based on real reforms for lifting people out of poverty.”
During this morning’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, they asked a 9 and a half year old Annabelle who she thought should win the election. She responded, “Mitt Romney” and the MSNBC crowd behind them booed her.
President Obama has a new slick campaign ad out that demonstrates his “determination.” In the ad Obama lays out his plan, ” for the next four years: Making education and training a national priority; building on our manufacturing boom; boosting American-made energy; reducing the deficits responsibly by cutting where we can, and asking the wealthy to pay a little more. And ending the war in Afghanistan, so we can do some nation-building here at home.”
A CBS affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona showed President Obama the projected winner over challenger Mitt Romney with 99% of the vote in with a 17 second crawl on the bottom of the screen last Friday during “The People’s Court”. Obama was the winner with 43% of the vote and Romney had 40%.

In Eagle Rock, California there are fliers going around offering a $40.00 bag of medical grade marijuana to anyone that votes. No one seems to know who is circulating these fliers yet. Nearly 10 times as many voters turned out to the polls during the recent Neighborhood Council elections than last year.
According to a report from CBS News in Los Angeles, “The fliers asked citizens to support the Progress and Collaboration Slate, which ran against the neighborhood council’s opposition to pot dispensaries.”
