Rand Paul Endorses Mitt Romney

Rand Paul went on Sean Hannity last night and offered an endorsement for Mitt Romney. His first choice was his father, Ron Paul. Now that it has been established that Romney will be the nominee Paul says, “tonight, I am happy to announce I am supporting Governor Romney.” Romney thanked Paul saying, “Senator Paul has been a leading voice in the effort to scale back the size and reach of government and promote liberty.” Romney added that, “over the past three and half years, President Obama has made government more and more of a presence in our lives, and Americans can’t afford four more years of the same failed policies. As president, I will reform the federal government and make it smaller, simpler, and smarter.”

President Obama Press Conference 6/8/2012

From the White House; “President Obama calls on Congress to pass the bipartisan, paid-for ideas that he proposed last year to put construction workers back to work upgrading our roads and bridges, teachers back in the classroom educating our kids and police and firefighters back on the job keeping our communities safe, and addresses the state of the economy, including the situation in Europe, which continues to pose headwinds to our recovery here at home.” Six of the eight questions allowed focused on the European debt crisis instead of the economic situation here in the U.S.A.

President Obama Says The Private Sector Is Doing Fine

In a press briefing today President Obama voiced confidence in the private sector economy saying, “we’ve created 4.3 million jobs over the last two, 27 months. Over 800,000 just this year alone. The private sector is doing fine.” It seems like he wants to help the Republicans write new ads.
