Floridians Assets Are Getting Taxed Off

A Florida Property Tax, Amendment 4 will appear on the November 6, 2012 state ballot in Florida as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment.
The proposed amendment would prohibit increases in the assessed value of homestead property if the fair market value of the property decreases; reduces the limitation on annual assessment increases to non-homestead property; and provides an additional homestead exemption. Supporters of this amendment have ads out that claim Floridians are getting their assets taxed off.

President Obama Is Silent On Americans That Have Dropped Out Of The Job Market

Mitt Romney’s latest ad says, “yesterday, President Obama launched his campaign by telling Americans not to ask if they are better off than they were four years ago, but how they’ll be tomorrow. This follows a jobs report that found more than 340,000 Americans dropping out of the labor force and an unemployment rate that remains unacceptably high.”

What’s Mitt Romney Trying To Hide?

The democratic Super PAC, American Bridge, have released a new campaign ad worrying about Mitt Romney’s tax returns. They ask, “Mitt Romney is asking his potential vice-presidential picks for their tax returns, and he submitted his own to John McCain in 2008. Why won’t Romney release his returns to the public?”

The RNC Asks, Are We Satisfied?

“Four years ago President Obama set the goal posts with the question of ‘will this country be better off four years from now?’ Four years later, a crowd of his supporters gave him the answer so many Americans agree with – a resounding no. Even though Obama would like us to forget he’s been president the past three years, Americans aren’t satisfied with the Obama policies that have resulted in 12.5 million Americans unemployed, 5.5 million mortgages in foreclosure or delinquent, and a record $5 trillion added to the debt. Barack Obama is right, American’s aren’t satisfied and that’s why we can’t afford a second term,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

GOP Weekly Address 5/5/2012 The President Punts On Almost Every Tough Decision

U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tennessee) delivers the Weekly Republican Address, calling for pro-growth tax reform to broaden the tax base, lower rates for everyone and provide Americans the opportunity to succeed. Senator Corker says “families and state governments are making tough decisions every day in order to make ends meet. And businesses are crying out for clarity on tax rates and regulation. This uncertainty is what’s weighing down the recovery and preventing the investment needed to create jobs.” Corker says, “The President punts on almost every tough decision. In fact, as he appeals to college students, his Administration is robbing those same young people of their American inheritance, spending their money on my generation and engaging in nothing short of generational theft.”

Classic Presidential Ads, It’s Morning Again In America Ronald Reagan 1984

1984 was made famous by a George Orwell book, and President Reagan won his second term. Walter Mondale was the democratic challenger who faced an uphill battle. Mondale only won the District of Columbia, and a close one in his home state Minnesota. The actual title of this 1984 Reagan commercial is “Prouder, Stronger, Better,” but the opening line, “It’s morning again in America”, inspired the ad’s better-known nickname. Reagan was helped by a strong economic recovery from the deep recession of 1981–1982, and won in a landslide not matched since. With all this in mind, after watching this ad it is hard not to support the candidate.

Occupy Wall Street Leader Versus Sean Hannity

Occupy Wall Street leader Harrison Schultz and Sean Hannity go head-to-head. Schultz claims the police sent “rapist down to the park” to discredit the OWS movement. He lives off of student loans which are running out and now needs a job. Shultz does agree that “rape is not cool.” Shultz believes the government should supply everyone with free education, health care, housing, day care and a car. He doesn’t seem to explain who is going to pay for all of that.
