The RNC Wants To Welcome President Obama To North Carolina

The RNC released a new video today called “Welcome to North Carolina, President Obama.” The President is making a trip to Raleigh, North Carolina and according to the RNC he is facing “a sexual harassment scandal plaguing the North Carolina Democratic Party and a serious threat to his already small chances at victory in November.” “President Obama arrives in North Carolina today to find a Democratic party in turmoil in a state so important to his re-election plan that he decided to hold his national convention there,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “As he visits the state, he should face tough questions about how long Democrats have known about this scandal and covered it up for political gain.”

The Senator That Became A Sellout From The RNC

The RNC have a new ad aimed at President Obama called “From Hope to Hypocrisy: The Senator that Became a Sellout.” According to them, “Obama promised to change Washington, but Washington changed him.” At least they feel he had good intentions. “Barack Obama promised to be a different kind of president but, unfortunately, he’s just a typical politician who will say and do anything to get elected,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Four years ago, then Candidate Obama promised he would change the way things are done in Washington, but he hasn’t and we found out there was plenty that was false about his phony message of hope. The American people want a leader who is willing to keep their promises–someone they can trust. Unfortunately, Barack Obama has violated that trust over and over on issue after issue. He is the Senator who became a sellout. This November, we will have the opportunity to replace him and restore trust to the White House.”

GOP Weekly Address 4/21/2012 President Obama Kept Promise About Raising Gas Prices

U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (R-Missouri) delivers the Weekly Republican Address, calling for the Administration and Senate Democrats to quit blocking bipartisan solutions to the high unemployment numbers and increasing gas prices. Senator Blunt says “jobs, jobs, and jobs should be the number one, two and three domestic priorities of the federal government and that the shortest path to more American jobs is more American energy.” Senator Blunt says, “[f]uel costs are on track to hit an average of $4 a gallon by summertime—that’s more than double what they cost when President Obama took office, and it marks a record high for the last two months. Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised. As a candidate, the President said, that energy costs, his quote, he said, ‘would necessarily skyrocket’ under his plan. Well that’s probably one promise the American people wish he hadn’t kept.”

That determination has made the Latino community a driving force behind our economic recovery.” But he still needs four more years, so Obama says, “The choice our country makes in November will have huge consequences for the Latino community. John Boehner Said President Obama Checked Out Last Labor Day

Speaker of the House John Boehner spoke on CBS news after endorsing Mitt Romney, and wasn’t very optimistic about the next few months. Boehner said, “The president checked out last Labor Day. All he’s done is campaign full time for the last six months. He’s not been engaged in the legislative process at all. There have been no efforts at trying to work with Democrats and Republicans to address this issue at all. And it’s, it’s shameful.” Beohner said this next election is about, “economics, economics, economics.”

According to Mitt Romney’s campaign, “Four years ago at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado, then-candidate Barack Obama said that Democrats measure progress by whether people can find a job and provide for themselves and their families. In September, President Obama and the Democrats will meet for the Democratic National Convention in North Carolina, a state that has lost nearly 50,000 jobs since President Obama took office and has an unemployment rate at nearly 10%.”
