Newt Gingrich Is At Peace With Mitt Romney

Newt Gingrich said he and Mitt Romney were at peace now. All the attacks during the campaign were just “part of the business” of running for the presidency. He feels that Romney will “most likely” be the nominee. “I hit him as hard as I could, he hit me as hard as he could,” Gingrich said on “Fox News Sunday”. “Turns out he had more things to hit with than I did. That’s part of the business.” “We’re both grandparents. We really see this as the fight for the future of our grandchildren’s country,” Gingrich said. “We really see this as not just defeating Obama but changing Washington.” “We are absolutely committed to defeating Barack Obama,” Gingrich added. “This is the most important election, in some ways, since 1860. Barack Obama’s a genuine radical.”

Dick Durbin Says Buy Hybrid Cars And Save The Planet Or Pay The Price With Tornadoes

Senator Dick Durbin (Ill-D) reacted to the tornadoes in Texas this past week by saying we needed to all buy a hybrid car. “It’s your money or your life,” Durbin said a press conference. “We are either going to dedicate ourselves to a cleaner, more livable planet and accept the initial investment necessary or we’re going to pay a heavier price in terms of loss of human life, damage and costs associated with it.” He also says he drives a hybrid car.

In the Weekly Republican Address, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin says the energy crisis facing America isn’t caused by a lack of energy resources, but rather stems from a lack of leadership that starts “at the top” with the President. “America remains dependent on foreign oil from unstable and anti-Western regimes, and yet the President is blocking the pipeline that would transport oil to the United States from our neighbor and ally—Canada,” she says. “Millions of Americans remain out of work, but President Obama continues to propose job-killing tax hikes and obstruct the basic energy infrastructure projects that would lead to the creation of thousands of new jobs, not to mention more revenue in state budgets.”

President Obama Speaks at the White House Forum on Women and the Economy

“Over one million more women are insured because they can now stay on their parents’ plan. Later this year, women will receive new access to recommended preventive care, like domestic violence screening and contraception at no additional cost,” Obama said to the forum on women and the economy. “And soon insurance companies will no longer be able to deny coverage based on pre-existing conditions like breast cancer or charge women more just because they’re women.’ He tried to relate to the women by bring up dry cleaning, “We don’t know — we haven’t gotten on the dry cleaning thing yet. I mean, I know that is still, that is still frustrating. I’m sure.”

The Keystone Pipeline has reached down to Florida’s Senate race with Representative Connie Mack (Fla-R) going after Senator Bill Nelson’s (Fla-D) seat. CBS 4 News in Miami reported on Congressman Connie Mack’s Keystone XL Pipeline petition event. Mack blasted liberal Senator Bill Nelson for standing with President Obama and blocking the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Smart Girl Politics Action (SGPA) have put together a video that says the leftist agenda does not speak for them. According to the SGPA, they released “a new video to counter the left’s so-called “war on women”. SGPA asks why this Administration has been trying to distract women from the real issues of this election season, by instead focusing on things like contraception. At the same time, the White House laughably calls for a forum to laud the strength of the Administration’s economic policies, particularly their benefits to women.” “Women are smart enough to know that we have bigger issues in this country than paying for our birth control.
