Bill Richardson Calls For A New Plan In Iraq

Bill Richardson has a new ad out called ‘Stand Up.’ In it he calls for a new plan in Iraq. He wants the troops out of Iraq now. In an email introducing the ad Richardson writes, “Bill Richardson is the only Democrat calling on Congress to take a different path: end the debate now by de-authorizing the war and bring all the troops home. Congress must stand up to a President who has put our brave military men and women in an impossible situation, refereeing a civil war. Our troops are targets — viewed as occupiers. There is no reason to expect the President and the Republicans in Congress to reverse course while more and more Americans die. Every day our troops are viewed more as occupiers and more as targets.”
