Barack Obama And Marijuana From The Taiwan Media

Next Media Animation from Taiwan have put together an animation of President Obama smoking marijuana with his celebrated “Choom Gang.”
“Obama was a member of a group of pot-smoking friends who called themselves the Choom Gang. “Choom” is a Hawaiian word for marijuana. Obama and the Choom Gang rode around in a VW bus called the Choomwagon, which they hot-boxed.
Obama believed in “total absorption,” a term he invented. That meant no precious smoke should go to waste. Any person who wasted smoke would be assessed a penalty and miss their next turn when the joint was passed around. When Obama and his friends hot-boxed in the Choomwagon, they would do “roof hits,” another Obama-ism. Obama, however, didn’t play by all of the rules. He frequently “intercepted,” or toked out of turn.”
This really wouldn’t be such a big deal if it wasn’t for the fact that the Obama administration has been the hardest on the medical marijuana clinics since they started. In a ‘Rolling Stone’ interview President Obama explained, “I never made a commitment that somehow we were going to give carte blanche to large-scale producers and operators of marijuana — and the reason is, because it’s against federal law.” The president as a candidate promised to maintain a hands-off approach toward pot clinics that adhere to state law. At a 2007 town hall meeting in Manchester, N.H., Obama said raiding patients who use marijuana for medicinal purposes “makes no sense.” At another town hall in Nashua, N.H., he said the Justice Department’s prosecution of medical marijuana users was “not a good use of our resources.” Yet the number of Justice Department raids on marijuana dispensaries has continued to rise.
