Democrats Claim Billion Dollar Campaign Is Bullshit

Jim Messina, President Obama’s Campaign Manager, has new video that lays out President Obama’s re-election plans. According to Messina, “People have speculated this is a billion-dollar campaign,” but he goes on to say, “That’s bullshit. We don’t take PAC money unlike our opponents. We fund this campaign in contributions of $3 or $5 or whatever you can do to help us expand the map, to put more people on the ground, to build a real grassroots campaign that is going to be the difference between winning and losing.” This is coming from the same 2008 campaign team that outspent all of their opponents combined with the most expensive campaign in the history of politics.
