Chuck Hagel May Announce He Is In On Monday VIDEO

Chuck Hagel has announced he will hold a news conference on Monday to talk about his future plans. This has brought up all kinds of speculation, but the best bet is he will announce that he is in as a Republican for 08. Hagel is a Vietnam war veteran, and a two-term Nebraska senator. He has also been very vocal against President Bush and the war in Iraq. Hegal called Iraq, “the most dangerous foreign policy blunder in this country since Vietnam.” This caused Dick Cheney to say in a Newsweek interview, “Let’s say I believe firmly in Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican,” …. “But it’s very hard sometimes to adhere to that where Chuck Hagel is involved.” Hagel is not the candidate the conservatives have been looking for, but he is a Republican that Democrats could vote for. Some have speculated he might even run as an independent. A major stumbling block for Hagel will be money. He has policies, but no money or organization.
