Hillary Clinton Wants The Emails Released To Show How Hard They Worked At State Department

After an event in Cedar Falls, Iowa, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton commented on the pending State Department release of her private emails. Clinton responded to a question on the missing emails saying, “nobody has a bigger interest in getting them released than I do. I respect the State Department, they have their process that they do for everyone, not just me, but anything they might do to expedite the process, I heartily support. I want the American people to learn as much as we can about the work that I did with our diplomats and our development experts because I think it will show how hard we worked and what we did for our country during the time when I was Secretary of State.” When pressed further on the emails Clinton claimed they weren’t hers, instead “they belong to the State Department.” So it’s not her fault they have not been released yet.
