John Edwards Stops By Town Of 229 And 2000 Show Up

John Edwards went on detour from the one of the early voting states to stop in Columbus, Kentucky. Columbus won an online competition sponsored by www.eventful.com to have Edwards visit their town. Columbus only has a population of 229, but about 2000 showed up. “I grew up in a small rural town, so I’ve seen first-hand how the problems of rural America too often are forgotten by politicians living and working in far-off capital cities,” Edwards said.
