Mitt Romney Knows Wall Street Is Not The Problem, It’s Sesame Street

President Obama latest campaign ad focuses on Mitt Romney’s plans for Sesame Street. The campaign says, “according to Mitt Romney, it’s not Wall Street you have to worry about, it’s Sesame Street.” “Because if you don’t have any fresh ideas, then you use stale tactics to scare the voters. If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from. You make a big election about small things.” (Senator Barack Obama, Address Accepting The Presidential Nomination At The Democratic National Convention, Denver, CO, 8/28/08) So six days later, all they can come up with is Big Bird making it into the Presidential debate.
UPDATE: Sesame Street has asked the President to take the ad down because, “Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns.” They added, “we have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down.”
