Why Is President Obama So Indignant On Gas Prices?

The republican rapid response team have put together a quick video that uses a recent question from a White House Press Briefing. ABC’s Jake Tapper asked the White House spokesperson, “He ran a lot of commercials in 2008 about gas prices. It was a big part of his reelection campaign so I don’t understand – there seems to be a tone of indignance from the White House about the fact that people are talking about gas prices – this is one of the reasons why you guys have your jobs.” He never got a real answer back from the press secretary.

Mitt Romney Visits Daytona 500

Mitt Romney spoke briefly to a crowd at Daytona 500 and then went to watch the race since he loves cars so much. He almost broke into the love theme, but backed down at the last second. A presidential candidate visit to Daytona 500 is worth 10 points in most fantasy leagues, especially in the south.

Rick Santorum Claims A Kennedy Speech Almost Made Him Throw Up

Rick Santorum visited George Stephenopoulos on This Week to talk about the campaign. They discussed a wide range of issues from the riots in Afghanistan to religion in the government. Santorum said President Obama should not have apologized to President Karzi about the book burning incident. “There was nothing deliberately done wrong here. This was something that happened as a mistake. Killing Americans in uniform is not a mistake,” Rick Santorum said. “Say it’s unfortunate … but to apologize for something that was not an intentional act is something that the president of the United States in my opinion should not have done.” He was also asked about a comment he made about John F. Kennedy’s famous speech to the Baptist ministers in Houston back in 1960. He had said when he first read it, he felt like throwing up. Santorum explained, “Because the first line, first substantive line in the speech says, “I believe in America where the separation of church and state is absolute.” I don’t believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute. The idea that the church can have no influence or no involvement in the operation of the state is absolutely antithetical to the objectives and vision of our country.”

Republican Fred Karger Says Vote For Obama This Fall But Right Now Let’s Make History

Fred Karger has distinguished himself as being the first openly gay candidate for the presidency for any major party. Now he has another distinguishing factor, by being the only republican candidate that will tell you to “go ahead and vote for President Obama this November.” Karger wants your vote in Michigan to “help make history.” I guess he feels it is historic for a gay candidate to get votes in Michigan.

RNC Political Director Explains The Path To 270 And Victory For Republicans

President Obama’s political director released a video last month that showed the democratic path to 270 electoral votes and President Obama’s re-election. In an email to supporters RNC Political Director Rick Wiley explains “how Messina’s assertions are merely wishful thinking on the part of the Democrats.” According to Wiley, “our base is energized from caucuses and primaries, and we’ve been adding to our momentum in recent weeks. Messina and company can color the map any way they want, but at the end of the day Americans are tired of out-of-control spending, high unemployment and failed leadership from this president.” He has released a 7 minute video explaining how the GOP will win this fall.
