President Obama Appoints Union Stooges According To Mitt Romney

President Obama appointed three new members of the National Labor Relations Board while the Senate was in recess to sidestep republican opposition to the appointees. Mitt Romney took this as an opportunity to make a new campaign ad calling these appointees “union stooges” and accusing President Obama of pure political payback. “You’re seeing a president adopt policies which affect our economy based not upon what’s right for the American worker but instead what’s right for their politics,” Romney says. “The National Labor Relations Board, now stacked with union stooges selected by the president, says to a free enterprise like Boeing, ‘You can’t build a factory in South Carolina because South Carolina is a right-to-work state.’ That is simply un-American,” Romney says in the ad. “It is political payback of the worst kind.”

President Obama’s New Global Military Strategy

President Obama went to the Pentagon yesterday to discuss his latest global military strategy. His new strategy cuts spending dramatically, and has plans on cutting a half million troops. According to President Obama,

We will be strengthening our presence in the Asia Pacific, and budget reductions will not come at the expense of that critical region. We’re going to continue investing in our critical partnerships and alliances, including NATO, which has demonstrated time and again — most recently in Libya — that it’s a force multiplier. We will stay vigilant, especially in the Middle East.
As we look beyond the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan — and the end of long-term nation-building with large military footprints — we’ll be able to ensure our security with smaller conventional ground forces. We’ll continue to get rid of outdated Cold War-era systems so that we can invest in the capabilities that we need for the future, including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, counterterrorism, countering weapons of mass destruction and the ability to operate in environments where adversaries try to deny us access.
So, yes, our military will be leaner, but the world must know the United States is going to maintain our military superiority with armed forces that are agile, flexible and ready for the full range of contingencies and threats.

President Obama Thanks Iowa Voters Four Years Later

President Obama addressed Democratic caucuses in Iowa yesterday to thank them for their support four years ago, and to fire them up for this years campaign. Their are several audio and video issues with this video, but this is just how they saw it in Iowa from the President. I can only assume that the pro-union President Obama doesn’t employee union technicians, because it looks and sounds like Max Headroom. President Obama also appears a bit aged for this shot. His hair is very grey, and his color is a bit orange. Could this be from a tanning salon screw-up on his Hawaiian vacation? The lighting and make-up crew must still be on vacation, because he looks awful.

America Is Calling For Rick Perry

Failed Promises, Promises Kept

President Obama’s campaign team have released an ad featuring candidate Obama’s victory speech from the 2008 Iowa caucus. Within his speech candidate Obama made several promises, “I’ll be a President who finally makes health care affordable and available to every single American… I’ll be a President who ends tax breaks for companies who ship our jobs overseas and put a middle class tax cut into the pockets of working Americans who deserve…I’ll be a President who harnesses ingenuity farmers, scientists, and entrepreneurs to free this nation from the tyranny of oil once and for all… and I’ll be a president who ends this war in Iraq and finally brings our troops home.” President Obama says he has come through on these promises, including four specifically.
– Passed the Affordable Care Act to make health care more affordable for more than 30 million Americans.
– Cut taxes for 95% of working families and closed corporate tax loopholes that – were sending profits overseas.
– Put in place historic fuel efficiency standards for cars and trucks to lower costs at the pump and reduce dependence on foreign oil.
– Ended the war in Iraq.

The Republicans have responded on the same day with a campaign ad called “Failed Promises” using the same Obama victory speech from 4 years ago. They have release a whole research briefing full of failed promises from that speech. According to the Republicans, Obama has failed on jobs, failed on housing, failed on spending and deficits, failed on debt, and failed on a whole list of stuff.

Jon Huntsman Puts Ron Paul In The Twilight Zone

In his latest campaign ad, Jon Huntsman portrays Ron Paul’s ideas as something coming out of the Twilight Zone and calls it “The Ron Paul Chronicles.” Huntsman’s attack ad does it’s best to make Ron Paul look crazy or even scary, but gives us no reason at all to support Huntsman.
