What Did Al Sharpton Just Say?

MSNBC have reached new lows by hiring race baiter Al Sharpton to spit the news. Here is video of him ad libbing when he loses his place on the teleprompter. The only thing that could be funnier would be a Sharpton interview with Barney Frank. Elmer Fudd could moderate. Maybe he had a little drink with Chris Mathews before he came on.

Left Using Children To Push Their Agenda Again

MoveOn.org have a new ad out that they claim tells us “How to Fix America in 126 Super Cute Seconds.” In it they use children to push the leftist agenda called the contract for the American Dream. The contract has 10 points and was created from the ideas of over 125,000 Americans. All of the points come straight from the Obama administration and their ideas for Americas future. They want to push green jobs, health care for all, a fair living wage and the right to organize, and of course tax the rich more. These children have no idea what they are saying and the irony of it is, if many of these agendas pushed where passed these children will be the ones paying for it. This isn’t the first time Obama and his group have used children in their campaigns. During the 2008 campaign there were a couple of different videos out with children singing praise to Obama. The left sees no problem with using children to push adult agendas, and in fact welcome the criticism from the right on this subject. It just looks eerily like the children under dictatorships that sing praises for their glorious leaders to me. Children do not belong in politics, period.

What Would President Bachmann Do To Fix The Economy

Michele Bachmann was on ‘The O’Reilly Factor’ last night 8/8/2011 to explain what she would do to fix this economy. The first thing she would do is fire the Treasury Secretary and get a team in there that knows what they are doing. Then she would call Congress back from vacation to fix the downgrade problem. “We have to have entitlement reform now,” according to Bachmann. She also says she would repeal Obamacare and reform Medicare. Bachmann claims there will be no Medicare under Obamacare, and as President she “will not rest until we repeal Obamacare.”

President Obama’s Statement On Credit Downgrade

President Obama made time to talk about the credit downgrade yesterday (8/8/2011) about an hour after they had scheduled him to talk. Obama does not agree with the S&P and felt we deserve a higher rating. “After witnessing a month of wrangling over raising the debt ceiling, they doubted our political system’s ability to act. The markets, on the other hand, continue to believe our credit status is AAA. In fact, Warren Buffett, who knows a thing or two about good investments, said, ‘If there were a quadruple-A rating, I’d give the United States that.’ I, and most of the world’s investors, agree,” Obama said. All this while the market was dropping 600 points for the day. He then went on to place blame for the downgrade decision on the shoulders of anyone else but himself. Obama said, “It’s not a lack of plans or policies that is a problem here, it’s a lack of political will in Washington. it is the insistence of drawing lines in the sand. A refusal to put what’s best for the country ahead of self-interest or party or ideology. And that’s what we need to change. I realize after what we just went through there is some skepticism in that.” Then President Obama put on his leadership hat and offered a solution to get people back to work. According to Obama if we cut unemployment benefits we could lose a million jobs. “We should continue to make sure that if you’re one of the millions of Americans out there looking for a job you can get the unemployment insurance that your tax dollars contributed to. That will also put money in people’s pockets and more customers in stores. In fact, if Congress fails to extend the payroll tax cut and the unemployment insurance benefits that I’ve called for, it could mean one million fewer jobs and half-a-percent less growth. This is something we could do immediately. Something we could do as soon as Congress gets back.” Or we could just go play golf until they get back.

Fred Karger Wants To Debate But 46% Of Those Polled Want None Of The Above

Republican candidate Fred Karger claims he has satisfied all of the requirements to qualify for the Republican debate put on by Fox News this Thursday 8/11/2011. He sent a letter to Fox News explaining his situation;

Dear All:

I am a declared Republican candidate for President of the United States who meets all of the requirements to participate in the Fox News Debate on August 11, 2011 in Ames Iowa.

Your criteria states:

Candidates must satisfy the following by 4 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, August 9, 2011

1. Registered with the Federal Elections Commission as a presidential exploratory committee or presidential campaign.

2. Meet all U.S. Constitutional requirements.

3. Garnered at least an average of one percent in five national polls based on most recent polling leading up to the registration day.

Attached is a new national poll that came out yesterday. It was conducted by Harris Interactive, sample size 1,168 that was in the field between August 2 – 4, 2011. The Harris Poll tested all 12 major declared Republican candidates for President. I am at 2%, tied with former Governors Tim Pawlenty and Jon Huntsman. With this latest national poll, I now meet your objective criteria of averaging at least 1% in five national polls.

Karger then submitted the Harris poll to support his claim, but the most interesting part of the poll was that 46% of those polled didn’t want any of the 12 declared candidates;

HARRIS POLL
If you are a registered Republican or Independent, which of the following candidates would you be most likely to support for the Republican nomination for President in 2012?

All Republicans Are Ruled By The Tea Party

The Democratic rapid response team have whooped up the newest charge that the Tea Party is at fault for all of the nations woes, and have taken it a step further by saying that all of the republican candidates for the Presidency are ruled by the Tea Party mentality. According to the ad, “like Washington Republicans and the Tea Party. Republican presidential candidates are planning to duck their responsibilities to the middle class, dodge their obligations to seniors, and dismantle critical education and job creation programs. Like Washington Republicans and the Tea Party, Republican presidential candidates are offering no new ideas.” The ad then claims, “Republican presidential candidates are providing no new leadership. They’re just following the Tea Party & Republicans in Congress.” The Democratic rapid response team wants you to believe that all of the Republican candidates have “extreme aims” for America.

Meet Tim Pawlenty

Fox News Sunday continues it’s ‘One on One 2012’ series which introduces us to the candidates running for President 2012. Yesterday (8/7/2011) was Tim Pawlenty’s turn. Pawlenty has had a hard time with name recognition in the early polls, but he is not worried. According to Pawlenty if the polls meant anything we would have Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton as a President today. Pawlenty goes into his differences with Michele Bachmann, saying he has far more executive experience, and she has accomplished nothing.
