Mitt Romney’s campaign team have a new ad out that shows top democrats complaining about all the attacks on private equity. According to the campaign, “President Obama’s attacks on free enterprise have triggered a backlash among many—even among those in his own party. In just the past few days, everyone from former advisors to his own surrogates have criticized the Obama campaign’s attack on free enterprise. With no record to run on, it is no surprise that the Obama campaign has resorted to misleading attacks that have been disavowed by its own supporters.”

President Obama’s campaign team have another web ad out that talks about Mitt Romney’s time with Bain Capital. According to the campaign, “With American Pad & Paper (Ampad), Mitt Romney and his partners took a small but successful paper products business and merged it with other companies in the industry, piling up debt as they went. Ultimately, the company was unable to keep up with the interest payments on its debt and was forced into bankruptcy, but not before Romney and his partners were able to squeeze out more than $100 million for themselves.”

In the Weekly Republican Address, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson discusses Senate Democrats’ refusal to pass a budget. Senator Johnson says: “It has been over 3 years since the Senate passed a budget. Think about that. Even though families and most businesses produce budgets to help control their finances, the largest financial entity in the world is operating without one. Why? Because Democrats in the Senate refuse to be held accountable. They either don’t have a plan, or they simply do not want their fingerprints on one.”

Penn Jillette Discusses President Obama Going Beyond Hypocrisy With His Drug Policy

In a recent episode of his podcast “Penn’s Sunday School,” comedian Penn Jillette talked about President Obama’s drug policy. Since President Obama is a admitted drug user Jillette feels his policy is “beyond hypocrisy.” “Do we believe, even for a second, that if Obama had been busted for marijuana, under the laws that he condones, would his life have been better? If Obama had been caught with the marijuana that he says he uses, and ‘maybe a little blow?'” Jillette asked. “If he had been busted under his laws, he would have done hard fucking time. And if he had done time in prison, time in federal prison, time for his ‘weed’ and ‘a little blow,’ he would not be President of the United States of America. He would not have gone to his fancy-ass college, he would not have sold books that sold millions and millions of copies and made millions and millions of dollars, he would not have a beautiful, smart wife, he would not have a great job. He would have been in fucking prison, and it’s not a god damn joke. People who smoke marijuana must be set free. It is insane to lock people up.” It is worth noting that Jillette has never smoked marijuana.

President Obama has been talking about his ‘to-do list’ for Congress, so now the RNC have put together a ‘not done’ list for President Obama;

“Professor Obama is trying again to distract from his failed record on the economy, so he’s giving Congress a list of things to do and blaming them for his own failures,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “The irony is that the only ones doing their homework for the American people are House Republicans who have been working tirelessly to develop a pro-growth agenda focused on job creation and fiscal responsibility. On the other hand, the Do-Nothing Senate Democrats haven’t passed a budget in over a thousand days. Instead of assigning homework to Congress, Professor Obama should take a look at his own list of broken promises to cut the deficit in half, lower healthcare costs, solve our energy crisis, change how Washington works, and help 9 million families from foreclosure-just to name a few.
