Ted Nugent Stumps For Mitt Romney

Detroit rocker Ted Nugent called the Obama administration “criminals” and ““vile, evil America-hating administration.” He says the Obama administration is “wiping its ass with the Constitution.” He went a step further and said, “if Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.” This little rant has the Secret Service interested in talking to Nugent about exactly what he means.

Democrats Embrace Political Gimmicks Instead of Real Solutions

The Senate Republicans have put together this video that shows the democrats are all about gimmicks and not solutions to this county’s problems. According to the Senate Republicans, “Our country is currently facing serious economic challenges — high unemployment, stratospheric levels of debt, high gas prices — and members of Congress should be focused on offering serious solutions. Instead, Democrats have chosen to offer political gimmicks like the Buffett Tax, which would discourage investment just when our nation really needs it and do almost nothing to reduce our enormous debt. Improving our economy requires both parties to cooperate on things like lowering gas prices by tapping our vast domestic energy resources or eliminating burdensome government regulations to make it easier for small businesses to create jobs. Unfortunately, as long as Democrats are more focused on winning political points than on solving our nation’s problems, our economy — and the American people — will continue to suffer.” “Even Obama is doing worse under President Obama.”

President Obama Celebrates Lilly Ledbetter Equal Pay Act While Still Paying Women Less In His White House

Nine days into his administration President Obama signed into law the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act which states women should get paid the same as men. Three years later women in his White House earn on average $11,000 less than their male counterparts. Of the administration’s 20 top earners, who each took home $172,200 for their work in 2011, only six of those were women. This is all based on the 2011 annual report on White House staff to Congress. But today he celebrates Lilly Ledbetter claiming he is “keeping his word.” According to the Obama campaign, “Four years ago Barack Obama promised to fight for equal pay. As President he signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act putting the law behind the principle of equal pay for equal work –helping to build an economy where hard work is rewarded, regardless of gender.”

President Obama Is Producing More Oil Than At Any Time In The Last Eight Years

President Obama spoke on the increasing oversight on manipulation in the oil market today in a speech in the Rose Garden. According to the White House, “President Obama discusses steps his Administration has taken to increase oversight of oil markets and close dangerous loopholes that allow a small numbers of irresponsible traders to hurt consumers by illegally manipulating or rigging the energy markets for their own gain, and calls on Congress to establish additional protections.” He assured us that they are trying to help us at the gas pump by saying, “when gas prices go up, it’s like an additional tax that comes right out of your pocket. That’s one reason we passed the payroll tax cut at the beginning of this year and made sure it extended all the way through this year so that the average American is getting that extra $40 in every paycheck right now.” “But, I think everybody understands that there are no quick fixes to this problem,” he said. Then President Obama claims responsibility for a record amount of oil production. “There are politicians to say that we just drill more then gas prices would just come down right away. What they don’t say is that we have been drilling more. My administration is producing more oil than at any time in the last eight years,” he said. “We’ve opened up new areas for exploration. We’ve quadrupled the number of operating rigs to a record high. We’ve added enough new oil and gas pipelines to circle the Earth and then some.” He then explains it won’t be enough by adding, “But as I have said repeatedly, the problem is we use 20% of the world’s oil and we only have 2% of the world’s proven oil reserves. Even if we drilled every square inch of this country right now, we’d still have to rely disproportionately on other countries for their oil. That means we pay more at the pump overtime when there is instability in the Middle East or growing demand in countries like China and India.”

Mitt Romney Asks, What If Your Family Budget Was The Federal Budget?

Mitt Romney’s campaign has released another infograph on the Obama budget. This one shows what your family budget would look like if the government ran it. The problem with it is the family of four is surviving on just under 25 thousand a year, which is close to poverty level. My guess is this family of four would qualify for food stamps and government housing, and could afford to spend more than they actually take in. This family of four would also be in that 46% of those that don’t even pay taxes. I bet Mitt Romney has spent their yearly income in one day several times.
