President Obama Calls On Students To Tell Congress #DontDoubleMyRate

President Obama spoke to a crowd of students at University of North Carolina and asked them to tweet Congress to not tell them not to raise the interest rates on student loans. The White House came up with their own hash tag for them, #DontDoubleMyRate. Mitt Romney took the air out of this campaign saying he agreed with President Obama on keeping interest rates on student loans low. “I support extending the temporary relief on interest rates for students,” Romney said. He blamed the Obama economy as the reason why he supported this because of the “extraordinarily poor conditions in the job market.”
