President Obama Is Ready To Press On

President Obama spoke before the Congressional Black Caucus (9/24/2011) and told them he is ready to press on. “Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes,” he said. “Shake it off. Stop complainin’. Stop grumblin’. Stop cryin’. We are going to press on. We have work to do.” He sounded like he was talking about his own job at times. “The future rewards those who press on,” He said. “I don’t have time to feel sorry for myself. I don’t have time to complain. I’m going to press on.”
