It is the first of August, and another candidate has been voted off of Presidential Idol. We are now down to the final four candidates. Ron Paul received the most votes for the month of July and came in first with 47.85%. Ron Paul has won Presidential Idol every month for over a year, and I don’t see how any one can stop his momentum to the finish. Ron Paul will have his big Rally in early September keeping support and interest in him high all the way through to the end. In July Hillary Clinton moved back into second with 20.57% of the vote, but just a couple of votes behind her all month long was Barack Obama with 19.14%. Chuck Hagel has stayed neared the top since the beginning of Presidential Idol, and this month he hangs on with 11% of the vote. If he can’t get any more support though, August might be his last month. Al Gore seemed to struggle for votes in July, and gets booted off of Presidential Idol with only 1.44% of the vote. All the remaining candidates on Presidential Idol are starting from zero again, so we can vote another candidate off at the end of August. We started with 20 candidates over a year ago, and are now down to the final 4. Election day, November 2008 we will pick from that group the first Presidential Idol. You can vote once a day for any candidate on the list. The one with the least votes on August 31st is voted off, and we start again with the top 3 on September 1st. So come by and vote for your favorite candidate at Presidential Idol, it’s free and fun. Thanks.

Why are people voting for Chuck Hagel? Is it because they want him as Obama’s choice for VP? McCain will never choose Hagel as VP running mate.
Why don’t the Hagel supporters support Barack?
I also wonder who the Ron Paul supporters will vote for in the real election?
Does anyone else ever wonder why people vote for who they vote for in Presidential Idol?
