Children Singing The Praise Of Obama

There is a video circulating on YouTube that shows young children singing the praise of Obama in what appears to be a carefully choreographed setting. This video was originally featured on Obama’s website, but I can not find it there now. It’s things like this that supports the charge that Obama has a cult like following. It is a little scary seeing children singing the praise of a politician like they do in totalitarian countries like Cuba, North Korea, and the former USSR. These are usually the songs for religious leaders, not politicians. These parents are exploiting their children for political gain. You can watch and make your own decisions, but I am disgusted.

Bill Clinton Makes Appearance In McCain Ad

On the same day that Bill Clinton campaigns on behalf of Barack Obama in Florida John McCain released an ad that features President Clinton. In the ad McCain claims he “fought to rein in Fannie and Freddie,…while Mr. Obama was notably silent.” The ad’s announcer says Bill Clinton knows who is responsible for our economic mess. They then show Clinton saying, “I think the responsibility that the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.” The ad’s announcer agrees, “you’re right, Mr. President. It didn’t have to happen.”

McCain Responds Horseshit To Obama During Debate

John McCain can be heard responding under his breath “that’s horseshit, horseshit” during the debate while Barack Obama claims McCain didn’t even know Spain was allied with us. This is probably why they didn’t want him looking at Obama, because they knew McCain would say things like this.

Here is the video that clearly shows McCain saying “horseshit”;

A Joint Statement On Economy From Obama And McCain

Barack Obama and John McCain issued a joint statement on the economy and will meet today with President Bush to discuss the economy. Here is their joint statement;

The American people are facing a moment of economic crisis. No matter how this began, we all have a responsibility to work through it and restore confidence in our economy. The jobs, savings, and prosperity of the American people are at stake.

Now is a time to come together — Democrats and Republicans — in a spirit of cooperation for the sake of the American people. The plan that has been submitted to Congress by the Bush Administration is flawed, but the effort to protect the American economy must not fail.

This is a time to rise above politics for the good of the country. We cannot risk an economic catastrophe. Now is our chance to come together to prove that Washington is once again capable of leading this country.

Latest Campaign Ads From Candidates

Here is John McCain’s ad called “Mum.” McCain’s ad says “Obama and his liberal friends have been mum on the economic crisis because no one knows what to do.”

Here is Barack Obama’s ad “Destinations.” In the ad they say that John McCain went to Bermuda and “pledged to protect tax breaks for American corporations that hide their profits offshore.” All this in exchange for $50,000.

It’s good to see they are keeping it clean and sticking to the issues. This stuff really helps the voter decide.

Palin Proposes Bill That Obama Already Passed

Today Sarah Palin told a crowd how she had put Alaska’s “government checkbook online,” and now she wants to do the same with the federal government. “We’re going to do a few new things also,” Palin told a crowd in Iowa. “For instance, as Alaska’s governor, I put the government’s checkbook online so that people can see where their money’s going. We’ll bring that kind of transparency, that responsibility, and accountability back. We’re going to bring that back to D.C.” That is great idea, but it was already done by Barack Obama and Republican Senator Tom Coburn back in 2006. They worked together to pass the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act, also known as “Google for Government.” They created USASpending.gov which gives all of us access to what our government is spending money on. John McCain was also an original sponsor on the 2006 bill that eventually became law.

Biden Says It Is Patriotic To Pay Higher Taxes

John McCain has a new ad out today that says Barack Obama will raise taxes to a painful level. “When our economy’s in crisis, a big government casts a big shadow on us all,” the narrator says in the ad. “Obama and his liberal Congressional allies want a massive government, billions in spending increases, wasteful pork. And, we would pay — painful income taxes, skyrocketing taxes on life savings, electricity and home heating oil.” The narrator concludes, “Can your family afford that?” According to the Tax Policy Center, a nonpartisan research group, Obama’s tax plan would increase taxes on the wealthiest 20 percent of households, while offering tax cuts for the other 80 percent. In contrast McCain will cut taxes across the board. Joe Biden responded to the ad this morning on “Good Morning America,” by saying, “we want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people.” He then went on to explain why we should tax the rich and give it to the middle class by saying, “it’s time to be patriotic, Kate. It’s time to jump in, it’s time to be part of the deal, it’s time to help get America out of the rut.” This coming from a man who gave $941 to charity?
