Pro-Obama Pink Floyd Pig Has Been Found

Ex-Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters released his signature giant inflatable pig during the closing set at this years Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival, and this time it got away. The giant flying pig has been a part of Pink Floyd since the 1977 album ‘Animals.’ The pig could be seen floating over the audience while Water’s played ‘Pigs on the Wing.’ It had painted on it’s side “Don’t be led to the slaughter” with a cartoon picture of Uncle Sam holding a couple of meat cleavers. On the other side was “Fear builds walls.” On the bottom side of the pig was “OBAMA” and a checked ballot box. A small aircraft also flew over the crowd a dropped leaflets with ‘OBAMA’ and the checked ballot box on it too. The small pieces of confetti spread over a 2 mile radius and ended up in the yards of many of the festival’s neighbors. Goldenvoice, the company that produces Coachella Festival cleaned up the mess, but said they would be “addressing this issue with Roger Waters’ management.” As the pig broke lose from it’s tethers and floated away Waters said, “That’s my pig.” This isn’t the first time the pig has escaped. During a photo shot for the album ‘Animals’ in 1977 he floated away. The organizers of the festival offered a $10,000 reward and 4 free tickets to Coachella for life for the return of the pig. He was found today in the yards of two couples in a nearby neighborhood. The couples will split the reward and the giant plastic pig will be returned to Waters. Coachella was named one of the top three festivals in the country according to Billboard magazine, and more than 186,000 music lovers attended last year.
